Clinic trial

Across Australia, research studies and clinical trials are underway to better understand post‑viral infection diseases, and you can help by participating in survey questionnaires, donating your time, and providing blood samples for different studies.

Participation is voluntary, and all research is conducted under strict ethical and safety standards. Please contact the clinical trial coordinator for more information. By joining a trial, you can help improve outcomes for others facing similar challenges.

Want to help advance research?

As part of our Long COVID-19 research, we are seeking help from our community to contribute to our biobank of blood samples. We are currently recruiting volunteers to donate blood after infections or vaccinations, or without infection or vaccination. The only requirements to participate are being over 18 years old and able to give blood.

Help with a Survey from people who DON’T have Long COVID

This study will ask you questions about your physical and mental health, as well as your participation in daily life. There are several surveys included in the study which will take 30-40 minutes in total to complete. The surveys in this study use everyday language and many have also been used in other research studies.

Do MicroRNAs Regulate Platelet Activation and Metabolic Dysfunction in Women with ME/CFS or Long COVID?

We’re looking for women volunteers to help us with a research study about Myalgic Encephalomyelitis,/ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and Long COVID. Our goal is to study tiny molecules in your blood called microRNAs. These molecules can turn genes on or off and may be involved in how your immune system and energy levels work. We’re especially interested in platelets—cells that help with blood clotting and inflammation—and how they may behave differently in people with ME/CFS or Long COVID.
